Data Exchange Proxy (DXP)/ Secure Data Exchange with Standard API Framework (SAF)​

EcoHub’s Data Exchange Proxy (DXP) and Standard API Framework (SAF) provide a secure and efficient platform for structured data exchange between insurers and brokers, adhering to industry standards. These services improve workflows, allowing fast and seamless communication while offering software providers a significant competitive advantage in the broker market.

What It Offers​

The DXP service acts as a central proxy, enabling secure file exchanges between brokers and insurers without temporarily storing or processing the data. Through DXP interfaces, files related to core insurance processes can be uploaded and downloaded seamlessly. TechUser authentication ensures secure file transfers, protecting sensitive information throughout the process.

 

As DXP technology transitions to SAF, the platform offers a more advanced, event-driven architecture for API integration. This enables brokers and insurers to exchange files and events asynchronously, using formats like JSON through Kafka or REST Proxy API. The system ensures end-to-end encryption, providing a high level of data security and compliance with industry requirements.

1. Initiation
If you choose to connect your software solution to our data exchange platform, this will be carried out through a clearly structured integration process. The step-by-step integration ensures that the introduction and implementation of EcoHub’s solutions run smoothly. Our team provides comprehensive support at every stage of the integration project to guarantee a seamless integration for insurers and software providers.
 
2. Preparation
In this phase, your team will prepare your systems for seamless integration with EcoHub. Our team will offer guidance and support as needed to help you prepare your systems for integration.
 
3. Integration & Testing
Once your systems are ready, you will begin testing the integration in our dedicated test environment to ensure everything functions as expected.
 
4. Certification & Go Live
After successful testing, we will certify the integration in the test environment to verify that all required standards are met before going live. Once live, a portion of the certification will be repeated in the production environment to confirm your system is fully operational and secure.
 
5. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Continuously monitor your integration and optimise it as necessary.

Marketplace​

The EcoHub Marketplace serves as a central app marketplace for software providers, offering brokers a curated selection of third-party apps designed to simplify and enhance their daily administrative and advisory tasks. By joining the Marketplace, you can present your solutions directly to brokers, increasing your reach within the Swiss market. If you are interested, register as a service provider, and we will get in touch with you.

What It Offers​

The EcoHub Marketplace provides software providers with access to over 1,000 brokers, offering three levels of integration to suit your business needs:

 

Bronze

Showcase your offering (Affiliated App) and generate leads, without technical integration.

 

Silver

Includes technical Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, allowing brokers to access your app directly through EcoHub with one click, enhancing convenience for users.

 

Gold

In addition to SSO, this level includes full technical integration for data exchange, enabling seamless communication with brokers. Membership in IG B2B is required for this level.

Onboarding Procedure​

Joining the EcoHub Marketplace is a simple process designed to get your solution live quickly and efficiently:

 

1. Initial Meeting

We discuss your requirements and how the Marketplace can best serve your needs.

 

2. Agreement

Formalize your participation by signing the Marketplace agreement.

 

3. Registration

Your company is registered on the EcoHub platform.

 

4. Invoicing

An invoice is generated, and payment is processed.

 

5. App Listing

Your app is listed on the Marketplace for brokers to access.

 

6. Communication

We are preparing the communication for our newsletter and coordinating the communication channels with you.

 

7. Activation

Your app is activated and made available to brokers.

 

8. Revenue Generation

Your app starts generating leads or sales from brokers accessing the platform.
