Single Sign-On (SSO)​

EcoHub’s Single sign-on for brokers simplifies access to multiple platforms and portals. After a single strong authentication, users can seamlessly navigate across various portals without repeated logins. EcoHub acts as the Identity Provider (IdP), securely passing efficient login solutions for brokers to service providers.

What It Offers​

The SSO service includes all the necessary components for a secure broker login process. This includes managing login credentials via email, secure logout, and enhanced security through an OTP app (such as Microsoft or Google Authenticator). By utilizing single sign-on for brokers, EcoHub integrates OpenID Connect (OIDC), enabling users to follow a unified login process across insurer portals and marketplace applications.

Data Exchange Proxy (DXP)/ Secure Data Exchange with Standard API Framework (SAF)

EcoHub’s Data Exchange Proxy (DXP) and Standard API Framework (SAF) provide secure data exchange for insurers and brokers, ensuring structured data transmission that meets market standards. These services enhance workflows and enable fast, secure communication between involved parties.

What It Offers

The DXP Service acts as a central proxy for secure data exchange between brokers and insurers, ensuring seamless uploading and downloading of files related to core processes. The security of file transfers is guaranteed through TechUser authentication.

As EcoHub transitions from DXP to SAF, the new system offers a secure, event-driven architecture for the integration of APIs for insurance data exchange. Brokers and insurers can asynchronously transmit files in JSON format via Kafka or REST Proxy API, ensuring secure and encrypted data exchange.

The DXP and SAF services are critical for automating data exchange in the insurance industry. By acting as an intermediary for secure data exchange, EcoHub supports insurers and brokers in automating their operations, enabling efficiency improvements and reducing integration costs. With the introduction of SAF, a modern, flexible, and secure data exchange system is provided, accelerating integrations and significantly enhancing data security in insurance data exchange through API integration. Data access can be achieved either via broker software with DXP/SAF integration or through the EcoHub process tool. If you are not using DXP/SAF-compatible software, you can connect your customised software solution to EcoHub’s DXP/SAF service as part of an integration project.

EcoHub Processes​

With the EcoHub Processes application, you and your organisational units can handle data and information exchange with insurers efficiently and free of charge across all core processes. This solution enables you to receive information and documents, such as invoices or commission and brokerage statements, directly from insurers connected to our data exchange platform – quickly, easily, and conveniently.

What It Offers​

EcoHub Processes provides standardized data exchange for processes like invoicing, commission management, mandate administration and contract creation. Brokers can send and receive data from insurers, and XML files from non-connected insurers can be converted into readable PDF documents for brokers.

For brokers without DXP/SAF-compatible software, EcoHub Processes is a crucial step into the digital future. By electronically managing digital document exchange for brokers, it saves time and costs by reducing manual efforts, eliminating media disruptions, and accelerating workflows. The EcoHub Marketplace is a central broker app marketplace offering a curated selection of third-party apps designed to simplify and enhance the day-to-day activities of brokers.

On the EcoHub Marketplace, brokers gain access to a wide range of innovative tools for brokers that make daily tasks easier. The marketplace also offers exclusive quotation calculators for brokers and other tools specifically designed for brokers’ needs. These apps can be searched, selected, and reviewed based on individual requirements, with solutions available for direct purchase or upon request.
